I accepted the Lord at a young age when the gospel was presented to me, however I never grew to know the Lord. I never matured as a Christian. Consequently I lived for myself and ignored God in my life altogether. I joined the Marine Corps when I was 17 years old, and basically lived a fast life without purpose or meaning.

God had other plans for me. Plans with purpose and meaning.

He continually reached out to me by placing Christians in my life, steering me back to Him.

I finally recommitted myself to the Lord while living in Alaska, and since then I see how the Lord has blessed me so richly. All the hardships I had to ever endure in life were for strenghtening my faith in Him.

My walk with the Lord has become stronger, and my understanding has deepened
as I commit myself to daily Bible study, prayer, and worship.

I have felt the call of God to serve full time in the mission field. My wife and I have accepted this calling and are to serve, with our two children, in China. We plan on leaving for China this time next year, as God leads us. We have just started our deputation, and pray the Lord will open the doors necessary for going to the harvest field.
