the who am I question:  I am a Christian, husband, father, teacher, servant, student, computer tech, woodworker, martial arts instructor, shooting instructor, hunter, bicyclist.

The most important part of the answer: I'm a Christian first and foremost.

home: Heaven, the Kingdom of;  however I live in New Mexico at the moment.

marital status:  Married, w/ 1 my son.

what cd's are in my cd player:  too many to list.  My favorite is still Mozart.

hobbies n interests: Martial Arts, Archery, Bicycling, Shooting

pet peeves:  telemarketers period.

favorite scripture: Do I really have to pick?  I'll just give 3 - Psalm 23, Matthew 5:16, and 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

favorite food: Chile (Green or Red)

favorite candy: anything chocolate

What must we do to be acceptable to God?

Nothing.

Did Jesus die for you?  Yes.

Did He die for you even while you were dead in sin?  Yes.

Can we save ourselves?  No.

Did Jesus know you before you were even born?  Yes.

Did He die for you anyway?  Yes.

Aside from the cross what more is necessary to reconcile us to God?
Quite simply, nothing.  The price has been paid and there is no more to be done.  We couldn't do anything anyway, because without God nothing is possible.

Here is one scripture I use to illustrate my point:
Rom 5:6-11

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the
ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps
for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
