My Lord and my God
And
we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given
us an understanding so that we may know Him who is true.
And we are in Him that is true, in His Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God, and the everlasting life. (1 John
5:20 MKJV)
For
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has
translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son; in whom
we have redemption through His blood, the remission
of sins. who is the image of the invisible God, the
First-born of all creation. For all things were created
in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on
the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones
or dominions or principalities or powers, all things
were created through Him and for Him. And He is before
all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is
the Head of the body, the church, who is the Beginning,
the First-born from the dead, that He may be pre-eminent
in all things. For it pleased the Father that in Him
all fullness should dwell. And through Him having made
peace through the blood of His cross, it pleased the
Father to reconcile all things to Himself through Him,
whether the things on earth or the things in Heaven.
(Colossians 1:13-20 MKJV)
In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
All things came into being through Him, and without
Him not even one thing came into being that has come
into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light
of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the
darkness did not overtake it. (John 1:1-5 MKJV)
And
no one has ascended up to Heaven except He who came
down from Heaven, the Son of Man who is in Heaven. But
even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that whosoever
believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten
Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish
but have everlasting life. For God did not send His
Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that
the world might be saved through Him. He who believes
on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe
is condemned already, because he has not believed in
the name of the only-begotten Son of God. And this is
the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because
their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates
the Light, and does not come to the Light, lest his
deeds should be exposed. But he who practices truth
comes to the Light so that his works may be revealed,
that they exist, having been worked in God. (John
3:13-21 MKJV)
That
which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which
we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon,
and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of Life,
(for the Life was revealed, and we have seen it and
bear witness, and show to you the everlasting Life,
who was with the Father and was revealed to us) (1 John
1:1-2 MKJV)
For
let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery
to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation,
and took upon Himself the form of a servant, and was
made in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion
as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto
death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God has
highly exalted Him, and has given Him a name which is
above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, of heavenly ones, and of earthly ones, and
of ones under the earth; and that every tongue should
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father. (Philippians 2:5-11 MKJV)
Then
He said to Thomas, Reach your finger here and behold
My hands; and reach your hand here and thrust it into
My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing. And
Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God!
Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you have seen Me
you have believed. Blessed are they who have not seen
and have believed. (John 20:27-29 MKJV)
Then
Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of
the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12 MKJV)
I
am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending,
the First and the Last. (Revelation 22:13 MKJV)
And
when He had come into the house, the blind men came
to Him. And Jesus said to them, Do you believe that
I am able to do this? They said to Him, Yes, Lord. Then
He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith
let it be to you. (Matthew 9:28-29 MKJV)
And
it happened, as He was in a certain city, behold, a
man full of leprosy! And seeing Jesus, he fell on his
face and begged Him, saying, Lord, if You will, You
can cleanse me. And stretching out the hand, He touched
him, saying, I will! Be clean! And immediately the leprosy
departed from him. (Luke 5:12-13 MKJV)
And
he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when You come into
Your kingdom. And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to
you, Today you shall be with Me in Paradise. (Luke 23:42-43
MKJV)
And
going in, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
(Luke 24:3 MKJV)
He
is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living.
(Mark 12:27 MKJV)
Beloved,
if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another,
God dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us. By
this we know that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because
He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and
testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior
of the world. Whoever shall confess that Jesus is the
Son of God, God dwells in him and he in God. And we
have known and believed the love that God has in us.
God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God,
and God in him. In this is our love made perfect, that
we may have boldness in the day of judgment, that as
He is, so also we are in this world. There is no fear
in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear
has torment. He who fears has not been perfected in
love. We love Him because He first loved us. (1
John 4:11-19 MKJV)
And
I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven
and the first earth had passed away. And the sea no
longer is. And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem,
coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride
adorned for her Husband. And I heard a great voice out
of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with
men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His
people, and God Himself will be with them and be their
God. And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.
And there will be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying
out, nor will there be any more pain; for the first
things passed away. And He sitting on the throne said,
Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write,
for these words are true and faithful. And He said to
me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning
and the End. To him who thirsts I will give of the fountain
of the Water of Life freely. He who overcomes will inherit
all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My
son. (Revelation 21:1-7 MKJV)
